Seamless, secure, and compact. Configuration as it should be.

Hamilton Process Analytics is setting a new standard for the integration and handling of process sensors with the introduction of the Arc Wi Pivot product family. “The name “Pivot” says it all: on the one hand, it describes the physical design with a rotating head that adapts flexibly to your space. On the other hand, it stands for the strategic shift towards a modern, secure, and networked process landscape”, states Product Manager Darol Howes.
The new series is the natural evolution from Arc Wi 1G/2G technology and has been designed to simplify the daily work of engineers and operators through intuitive usability and maximum data security.
The Arc Wi Pivot Adapter is a compact, pivotable interface that adds wireless configuration and clean 4–20 mA output to Arc intelligent sensors. It replaces bulky transmitters, frees up cabinet space, and drops straight into both new and existing control systems.
When Bluetooth is used, it supports an encrypted setup for controlled, secure configuration; and for plants that don’t allow wireless at all, a fully Bluetooth-free version is available.
The product family therefore comprises three variants that cover different requirements. With permanently active Bluetooth 5 and encrypted communication, the Arc Wi Pivot BT model offers a convenient solution for quick configuration and troubleshooting. For environments that require a combination of analog control and flexible calibration and troubleshooting with optional Bluetooth®, the Arc Wi Pivot BT mA – 2 offers two galvanically isolated 4–20 mA outputs and a switchable Bluetooth module.
A key advantage of the new adapters is their high degree of flexibility. Galvanic isolation also reduces installation costs and the need for external equipment. Find-Sensor functions enable quick identification, while the high accuracy of the analog signals allows for more precise process control. Arc Wi Pivot thus contributes significantly to the easy conversion of processes from legacy systems to modern, secure connectivity. “Whether modernizing an entire plant or configuring a single sensor at the bench, the Arc Wi Pivot family offers a future-proof bridge that combines technical flexibility with uncompromising reliability”, says Darol Howes. With this innovation, Hamilton positions processes to grow with increasing connectivity and efficiency requirements.
